T.J. Maxx

I was working on stuff around the house all day yesterday and today woke up feeling completely exhausted. I decided to take it easy this morning while all the kids were at school. With Andy in Chicago, our house up for sale(trying to keep it clean is impossible), and trying to decide what neighborhood to move to in Chicago, I haven't had much free time. None, really.

I spent my morning looking at clearance Christmas books at Barnes and Noble, then looking at junk at T.J. Maxx. Not a very productive day, but it was about all I could handle. I love T.J. Maxx, you just never know what you're going to find. Today I found some clearance Lego's, the Prince of Persia Disney sets. There were two sets, the large set marked down to $20 from $50, and a smaller set marked down to $10. Since everyone just got Lego's for Christmas I left them on the shelf.

Then I saw a moka pot. I've been wanting to try one for awhile. In fact, I think I almost bought this very moka pot the last time I was there. Last time it was $9, but today it was marked down to $5. That's about the price of a fancy coffee from Starbucks, so I figured I'd take the chance. It didn't come with any instructions, but I did a quick search and it looks simple enough.

I can't wait to try it!  The only problem is I don't have any suitable coffee in the house.  I think the only thing I have here is Folgers, and that just won't work.  Any of you coffee drinkers have any tips or coffee suggestions?

Hey Steph!

We actually have two of these (an embarrassing amount of coffee happens in our house). You can use just about any beans you like as long as they're not too finely ground or you get silty dregs.
